"But then why didn't you send someone else?"

"No dragon trusts me, at least those who remember I exist. Besides, most forget about me after enough time..."

"Exactly, so why not just rush in and kill?"

"Dragons are very stupid, they do not like anyone that is not like them. They saw you as a threat right away, they would see me as a threat even if they don't remember me."

"...Oh."

She nodded. She started pacing a tiny bit, steps careful and trained.

"So what are you doing here if Shade is just going to kill Jason?"

"Because, I've been keeping a track on their lives. I've been trying to keep my hands on their timelines, but I've lost track of Jason too much. I finally will have both in one place, so I will be able to keep control of the battle."

"So you're just going to let Jason die?"

"Yes." She said, voice hinting her regret faintly.
