Shade just whimpered in the goo

"Hold on a minute longer," he called back to Shade before matching her pace. "I wouldn't be so sure about that."

"...Owkay." Shade called to him, trusting Ash ... despite how the goo pulsed and started oozing every part of his little body.

The Mistress said nothing else, ignoring him despite how her lips moved in words spoken only to herself.

"Who was supposed to die?" He pressed

She still ignored him, not feeling like answering his question.

She still didn't say anything, stopping close by the cabin. She shifted to a cat and pranced to the entrence. She stared at the area in front of the cabin, as if waiting for something.

Ash placed a hand on the hilt of his sword...just in case.

"Oh calm, Winter Fey. He is to come in mere hours, you need not try though. All paths end the same." She said, not shifting back to herself. She was a sleek black cat, eyes the same blue and fur silky and long.
