She came over in a minute, handing him his cup of tea. She had another cup of hot chocolate to help her stay awake. She sat down on the couch, rubbing her eyes a bit.
"So you live near here," She asked trying to start a conversation.

He kept his bag right besides his left leg, which looked for some reason a little bend at the middle of his calve. "Yeah, about five blocks, a right turn and then two more in a corner."

"So you walk by my house everyday? Hm, wonder why I never saw you," She wondered aloud sipping her drink before noticing his leg, "What happened there," she pointed at his leg curiously.

He eyed his tea, but became a bit upset as she asked about his leg. He pulled his back and covered it. "Nothin'." He mumbled, then tried the tea a bit. Wasn't that bad, to his surprise.
