You can't get a billion in this game, you can only get 999,999,999. Which I'm not going to get anytime soon. Besides, the only reason I'm getting it is for the project and to help you.

Well, the maximum price for everything is 999,999,999. I just assumed that was the maximum amount of gold you were able to get in this game, but I guess I was wrong. Has anyone ever even gotten that much?
