The intruders do not follow you this time. There are still other horses in the corral though. The sand and rock eventually turn to mud and grass as you run away.

Glory took a deep breath once she was safe. She decided that she would come back at night, since the intruders seemed to be diurnal. She foraged for food.

Food is scare among the coastline but you get lucky and find a bush with ediable leaves.

Cricket sighs and reluctantly accepts the sugar cube. It was sweet. Arien was better off a wild horse. He shouldn't have brought him into this mess. Cricket nudges the man and gestures towards Arien. He hoped the man got the idea after a few times.

The man shook his head speaking in a strange language as he pets Cricket. After a few minutes he left to help with repairs on the ship.
Adrien stays on the other side of the corral from Cricket not beliving what hehad just seen.

Cricket gave him an awkward smile to let him know he tried. It's not like he could speak the man's language anyways.

"I could tell," Adrien answers, "I still do not understand why you're doing this. Those intruders are dangerous and unpredicable."
A plesant breeze from the ocean brings the sea salt scent to the horses in the corral.

"That may be so, however, not all are dangerous. Some are cute and very kind."
Cricket's tail swished as he stated this. He knew this from experience an the man who caught him seemed to be proving him right yet again.
"Some things are never what they seem. And some wilds are meant to be tame. You, on the other hoof, are better off wild. Why did you follow, anyway?"

"I followed because I thought you needed help," Adrien answers, "besides untamed wildress will teach you how to loose your instints and wildness. Do you really think that if the intruders leave that they will take you with them?"
Adrien kicks up a rock looking at the intruders, "Besides our job is to get rid of them not to befriend them."

"We all have our opinions and beliefs... I know what we are supposed to be doing. What if they are going to make their home here? We have to befriend them to live alongside them. As long as they are kind, we can do that. We just have to find out which of them have good intentions. Then we try to get rid of the others."

Cricket attempts to put his inquiry on the young colt, hoping for the love of the elements he will understand.
