Toriel smiled and stepped out into the snow. "Alright then. I think you'll need to lead the way, though."

Frisk nodded, took Toriels hand, and began leading the way, smiling.

After a pleasant walk through the snow-covered forest and casually slipping through Papyrus's "gate", the two stumbled upon the sentruy post. There they found Sans, not asleep on the job quite yet but probably not far from it, either. He currently was flipping through a thick, paperback book of some kind; a sci-fi novel by the looks of it. It was unclear as to wether or not he'd noticed them yet.

Frisk picked Sans. *hello, sleepyhead!*

Sans bolted and looked up from his book-daze. "huh? oh, heya kiddo. wasn't asleep this time, though." He looked over at Toriel. "hey hey, looks who's out and about!"
Toriel chuckled. "Good morning."

She smiled. *whatcha been doing?*

Sans snapped his book shut (it was a novel with a holofoil cover, entitled Calamity)."not much since yesterday. don't know why i still need to man the station, though. like, what am i supposed to report? human sightings? not like it'd matter if another human passed through here."

Frisk laughed. *true.*

"probably some legal reason behind it, i guess. anyway, where you two headed?"

She shrugged. *we were gonna visit you.i
