Winter ignores the wailing and her hand begins to glow white and light blue. She feels her power rushing into her hand, sapped from the recesses of her body. She knows that she will have to use all her power. She felt around in the ground for ice magic. She managed to pull some from the ground, causing snow to swirl around her, coating her hair, clothes, and hands.

Theta: flames swirl around him, but dont burn.

Roe: hands raise up from the ground and pulls at his pants he kicks at them.

Cody: he glows white in the darkness.

Winter looks at the others, and has to admit, they all look pretty impressive. She summons more power and more snow swirls around her, and frost makes patterns on her arms and hands. The patterns begin to glow white. She feels hands grab at her legs, but she ignores them, "Ready?" she asks everyone once she has gathered all her power.

Cody: "now let all the magic go, just let it leave."

the wailing loudens.

Roe: the hands leave and his face pales.

Theta: he is suddenly very sleepy. he takes the energy from the dead/ dyinging demons.

the gate slowly closes.....

Winter lets her power and energy go and she can feel it draining from her. The frost covering her melts, leaving her soaking wet. She feels empty and exhausted. Her hand begins to drop but she heaves it in the air, and forces one last burst of power out of her hand.

Demon: he joins the group letting his power fill the humans/angels/demons/grimm reaper.

Loki: he too lends energy to the group, seeing that the gate was closing so slowly.

Winter grasps wildly at her consciousness. She had let her power out to quickly, and she was paying for it. She managed to pull her consciousness back and find more power. She added more power, and when then she tilted her head back and howled. She could hear answering calls resound in her head, and the ice designs crept back up her arm. She felt herself fill with power from the ice-wolves. She gathered the power and added it to the other's power.

Demon: he called to the horses of the world, taking the volunteers power, but only making them sleepy. he too added it the they group.

Roe: he reached in his pocket and pulled out a pearl. he broke it open and power filled the groups energy levels back up to full, but that quickly drained.

Cody: 'we are not going to make it.' he thought to himself, but to his surprise the wailing stopped and the hole was closed. "We did it.." he said falling o the ground asleep.

Theta: he stumbled like a drunken man. "we did, but with a price. look at your hands." a long gash cut through his palm. "no magic can fix it. we all bear the mark of the devil..." he falls to the ground as well.

Roe: he stands, swaying. "thank you all that helped." he falls to the ground on top of Theta

Winter smiled, and staggered forward, collapsing next to Roe and Theta.
