Scias blinked. Great. What now. All these strangers showing up was really starting to get on his nerves.
"Do me a favor then, shut up for a sec before you get the whole town turned on you."

X dropped his arm off Scias, finishing his cigarette as he looked around the group, especially at the hysteric human. "Gotta say, kid, wasn't expecting you to be alive, let alone around this many people. They all from the lab?"

"Some of them.. Not sure this is the place to catch up though.." Scias gestured at the rambling woman.

"Yeah, yeah. I know, trust me. I wasn't spawned yesterday. Besides, she looks pretty harmless to me. Probably just strolled into town without realizing the hell of a place she ended up. You got a name, princess?"

Excuse me, but she doesnt really want to talk to anyone at the moment. I talked to her because she thinks she can trust me. She blocked Basil from the feline and glared at him.

"Woah, hey, feisty.. feisty. No need for all that. I'm a big scary cat, I got it, but I wouldn't put a claw on her. Scouts honor. Not at all like this two-bit idiot." He patted Scias on the head slightly, catching a swat on his hand from him.

"He's harmless." Scias grumbled. "Annoying. But harmless."

Fine.... She crossed her arms and stepped aside. Far enough that Basil and the feline could talk, but close enough to intervene if things got out of hand.

Basil was trying to get herself under control, but this was getting weird. It has been a while since an alien/alien hybrid did NOT want to kill her. She took a deep breath, and folded her hands politely in front of her.

"Sorry" she mumbled. She took a moment to look at the growing number of people around her. "I am Basil."
She was too frazzled to say anything else. She honestly expected a few questions, maybe a knife lodged somewhere in her in a few moments, but so be it. She had to look up to see all of these people... so tall...it was a bit frustrating

Basil, she whispered we truly wouldnt hurt you. I understand if you think we would, but if anyone tried to they would lose my trust. Not a great thing to lose. She smiled at the last part.

"Nice to meet you, Basil.
..Actually, lemme do you guys a favor. I got a place near the gates of town where we can have a nice chat and you can put your feet up for a bit and choke some food down. Nothin' special, but at least you'd not end up bein' the talk of the town out here with all your theatrics. People get shot for less around here, just piss off the wrong drunk."
He didn't exactly seem content with the Scorpinos of the group joining, but out of being polite, he said nothing about them for now and just kept a smile. Kid had sought him out for a reason after all.

Fine, but Im not eating. I dont care if I need food. She looked at the feline with a look of distrust in her eyes. Dont even know your name. Or nickname.

"For good reason. Just call me X. And don't worry, not with the army or war or anything anymore, don't have to worry about me draggin' ya in some dark alley or poisoning the food or anything. You even know how expensive cyanide is on this planet? Sheesh.."
