Electa was silent at that, the only sound her plate being set on the bedside table. She still didn't speak. He hadn't hurt or offended her in any way, she just...didn't have anything to say about that

Alister was watching the TV, he had changed the channel to another dramatic show. He was still hugging the pillow to his chest, as if to comfort himself.

"Have you ever played quarters before?" She asked after a long moment of silence

" No, what is it? " He asked, his voice soft and low.

"Hold on, we need a glass." She went into the bathroom and got a plastic cup and sat around the table in the room. "Okay. It's usually a drinking game, but it doesn't have to be," she said, digging in her jeans pocket. She took out a quarter. "All you do is throw it flat against the table, like this--" She tossed the quarter sharply against the wood, her forearm flexing. It jumped up in the air, kissing at the plastic lip of the cup and then spinning back onto the table. "Almost," she said. "Youre supposed to get it into the glass."

" That sounds interesting.. " He said, setting the pillow down and walking over to her and the table. " We could drink, but we don't really have anything. "

"Well, I'm sure we could always raid the bar," she suggested. "You know, if you're okay with that." Maybe stealing and drinking would get his mind off of Princess

" You sure? Wouldn't want you in handcuffs now would we? " He said with a laugh.
