Cat giggled and detached, smiling.

Night was practically choking on laughter.

Nya
-Is that what you wanted, Cat? To be called cute?- Nya asked.

Cat just smiled.

Night barked out a laugh.

A tiny sneeze came from the eggs, and, when Nya looked back, she saw the egg that had been cracking had finished hatching. Nya rushed over, and scooped up the youngling. She held it close, sensing the weakness of this youngling.

Cat bounced over, now lookint worries.

Night watched, scared. *what do we do?*

Nya looked up , her eyes brimming with tears. -Get Thomas,- She said.

Night realized something was really wrong, and ran out. He ran into Thomass room without warning, scaring him. *THOMAS, HELP! ONE OF OUR KIDS NEEDS HELP!!!*

Cat sat down, and began glowing, surprising Nya. This was the first time she saw this happen.

Thomas jumped, and followed Night.

Nya
Nya watched Cat, worried.

(I was planning a little tragedy, so, this one is too weak to survive.)

(D: poor kid. Is he gonna be in pain? I dont want him to suffer.

Also, I feel attached to a baby I just met a few posts ago. So, that make it worse, cuz its a baby.

And now Im sad. Frik.)

Cat glowed brighter, then the glow faded, and he was still normal.

(He couldnt find any cat forms that can heal the baby well enough so the kid could live.)

Night ran into his room, and gestured to the kid Nya held. *help him. Or her. Please.* he seemed scared out of his mind.

Suddenly, the roof shook, followed by a roar. Night jumped, and Cat hissed at the roof.

(The baby is too young to really be aware, sand is currently asleep.)
Thomas saw the youngling, and said, 'Nya, may I?'
Nya passed the youngling to him, and, as it settled into his arms, it gave a tiny gasp, and died.
Thomas looked up, weeping, and Nya knew. The baby was dead.
