Blue nodded slightly. She turned and began to walk back to her den to get Soot. She walked in. Soot, Alpha is dead. She said bluntly.

Blister growled and lunged at Scar, who backed away and turn and ran. Hearing the commotion in camp she looked around, waiting for someone to tell her.
Soot raised his head in shock. His eyes were narrowed as if he was trying to figure out the answer to a difficult problem. "Dead, " he echoed hollowly. His mind began to race from idea to idea. "From the rogues. " It sounded more like a statement than a question.

Yes, I couldnt get to her in time to heal her. She is so stubborn. It brought her to her end. If she had just come for help.... Blue mumbled. She shifted uncomfortably. She stayed silent for a moment. I think she would have wanted you to be left in charge. She wanted me to tell you something but she died before she got it out. She said.

He shifted uncomfortably, having a guess at what she was trying to say. The beta -- now alpha -- closed his eyes. When he opened them, they were alight with determination. "What about the others?"

Everyone else is fine. I have treated them all. Akira is watching over the body. Burn was there too when she died. I am sorry, I know she meant a lot to you. She said. Her eyes began to brim with tears. She felt terrible for not checking on the alpha sooner. She thought she couldve prevented it. She lowered her head so Soot couldnt see her on the verge of crying.

The alpha stood up from his nest, still a little weak in the muscles, and shook off the moss carefully. "Gather the Pack by the Alpha's den. I'll need to address them, and then we'll bury Hekera.

Blue quickly ran off to gather the pack. She solemnly explained to everyone what had happened. She tried not to choke on her tears as she did.

The wolves of the pack gathered beside the former alphas den, Akira stayed beside the body of Hekera, not letting a single wolf get close to the body other then herself. She wanted to bury the alpha on her own even..
