"Yeah. I took one, but we didn't actually play anything on the piano. It was all learning about the piano," he muttered

"Ah... Well... My mother signed me up for dancing lessons when I was younger... but I didn't go. I think it was because my mom was busy with work at the time." She frowned a little. "She's a workaholic... sadly"

"I'm sorry...that must be rough. What about your father? Does he work, too?"

"Er... yeah... He does. But it's ok. Around this time both of them go on their business trips... Since they work at the same company..."

"Is that a good or a bad thing?" He asked with a laugh. His dad had left when he was young, and his mom couldn't look at Shawn anymore without becoming depressed because he reminded her of his father. He had a younger sister who had dropped out of school and a little brother who was in elementary school. He had moved out of his mom's house when he was around fifteen.

"It's kinda good... usually I'm alone while they are gone. But sometimes Hazel comes over to check on me..." She smiled, because of his laugh.
Brook was an only child. She gets spoiled, usually, but she hates it...

"Well, that's nice of her. How often do you get left home alone?" He asked. Both of his siblings got to live with their mom, and Shawn was still the main supporter of the family

"Yeah... She usually is nice. But usually pretty often, im alone... But they always say 'It's money we need...' even though we don't really need it..." She sighed.
Brook's family is mainly in the middle class, money wise... That's why she gets spoiled...

His smile wavered for a moment. He had always envied people who had extra money, even though that envy would never get voiced.

But Brook disliked it... Since she doesn't get to spend much time with her parents since they are working. That's the reason why she was getting bullied at her other school... her parents were away so they took advantage of their absence so they couldn't get in trouble...
"But... It's all good..." She smiled, in a kinda fake way.
