No rattlesnake! Loki pushes back as the serpant shakes it's tail threateningly.


"Maverick there's a snake!"

Val's eyes get wide. She rears and bucks. Run! She whinnied before bolting

"Don't get too close!" He warned Desta and the horses

"No duh but what about them? Loki is too close and Dreamer's behind him," Desta reasons.

Dreamer quickly jumps back and runs as Loki tries to do the same.

"They need to get out of range, or else the snake could bite them. I can't tell if it's poisonous or not..."

"It's a rattlesnake it's poisonous," Desta responds as Dreamer runs past her. Loki jumps back and runs toward Val and Dreamer.

Val's ears were pinned back on her head, her eyes wide

"Well then we need to distract the snake. Any ideas?"

Desta grabs a stone from the ground and throws it at the snake from the side, "Want more snakeyes?"


Loki tries to push Val away.

She rears at him, not wanting to move. More like too frightened to move for fear or getting bit, but still.

Maverick starts to do the same

After a while the snake hisses and goes out of sight.
"Good aim," Desta chimes.

Loki looks at Val, I never call someone a snake.

"You had better aim than I did," Mav pointed out.

It was hard to tell in the moment.
