He snarls, nodding to the guards. "If a door is unlocked and you don't know what it leads to, and you're in a castle, stay out!" He snaps. The guards shove him out of the room, standing guard at the door.

Magnus pulled Annie out while he was being shoved, saving her from the wrath of the guards.
Alex stayed silent, and made a silent promise. She closed her eyes, wiped a tear away, then regained her composure, face stone.

He sighs, "My love, I'm sorry I'm so harsh on him, if I chose to treat him like a favorite I'd be looked down on! I must treat him as he should be, he must earn my respect." He states. "If you do not wish for this to happen to him any longer then teach him his place here, if you can't then I will." He states, kissing her hand before striding off.
