There was the scent of a feather in the room.
Douglas stuck his hand under the bed and pulled out an entire small, red ,live bird, "Where did you come from?"

The bird flapped it's wings at the noise and flew toward Kaladin.
"Go put the bird in the avairy or outside please." Douglas spoke.
Kai grabbed some of the feathers the bird had lost.

The bird landed on Kaladin's hand, I grew up here please don't make me leave; my nest is there.
"Know what I'll move room." Douglas muttered picking up his bag, "Are there any other birds in the rooms?"
None that I know of.
