Of course, my sisters died when the apocalypse first started, but I was fine on my own. Even if I was lonely, I had a dog that was always there, but he died from old age. I met Alex and everyone soon after that, but, it still hurts." She hadn't even realized it, but she had started crying halfway through her story. She didn't realize that everything that was bottled up inside her would cause her so much pain.
