"Well, what do we do now?"

*She picked up her bag which had fallen off of her when she saw melissa*

"Cool, I win something for the first time in my entire life. But seriously, Kody, I saw you shuddering when I first woke up. We're friends, so you can tell me whatever it is. If it's just that you're scared I'll try to die again, I don't plan on doing anything dangerous anytime soon. Or maybe even at all. Please just tell me."

"Dunno. Just leave her here I guess...? I mean she's fully healed now." looked away from Melissa and back at you.

"I can't loose anyone else..." he mumbled as he looked at the floor, he fell silent after that.

I look down, not really knowing how to respond. "You won't lose me. I don't know how, but you just won't. This probably sounds ridiculous, considering the situation we were just in, but I'm actually quite hard to kill. I mean, I survived the scientists, right?" I pause, but not long enough to let Kody say anything about his parents or anything like that. I then suggest, "Maybe we should go see if the pack has gotten over their drunkenness yet. If so, they'll probably be wondering where in the world we are."

Kody goes coywolf and sits on his hauches, "Are you sure you can handle this? You really shouldn't be moving or transforming much because of you ribs and we'll..." he trailed of and began wagging his tail as he looked out the window at a butterfly. He ran over and nipped at it but missed and the butterfly flew away, "Sorry I get distracted easily in this form." he said turning back to you.

"But...Couldn't another shifter like the one who hurt her come back? What if this time she isn't so lucky?"

"And well...? Also, if I turn into my dragon form I heal instantly. It does take a bit of energy though, but I think I have enough." I immediately turn into my dragon and take off the bandages. "See, I'm perfectly fine. And only a little..." I yawn, "tired." I then turn coywolf and look around for an exit.

"I doubt they'll go for the same person because now she'll be much more careful and alert." he replied calmly. It was obvious he didn't really care what happened to her.

Kody walks back to the dark corner and bites onto some kind of latch. You look down and see gorgeous stairs that descend half way down the tree then stop so that no one can see them. Kody turns human for a split second and jumps down then turns back to coywolf.
