"Well, you're safe-ish around here.... sorta. This is either the safest or most dangerous spot on the island, depending on how you look at it." Knuckles explained. "We should probably get some rest though. I don't even want to think about what'll happen if Infinite catches us out of shape..." his voice trailed off, and he trotted over to the M.E. and flopped down beside it, gazing into it's crystalline surface.

Gadget lay down on the grass and watched the firey colors of sunset fade into purple, then dark blue, then black. So many stars... He thought, making himself comfy.
