Mitch smiled as he watched Ember sing. He continued playing the guitar until she finished the song. He couldn't help but smile more. Ember had a really beautiful singing voice he didn't know why she had lied about it... Unless she didn't want to be around him. He cleared his throat as Kaya spoke. "What's wrong with you?!" She said to Ember and Mitch turned around almost ready to yell. "You have a great voice! It's just unique and different from our's." She said nodding toward Kala, who nodded in agreement staying quiet. Mitch let his breath out and relax back to looking at Ember.

A'ine grinned after Mitch got uber angry at Kaya for saying something like that to Ember. A'ine was sure that she'd have done the same if she hadn't been able to tell what the girls were thinking as they spoke.

Alderic laughed. "Everyone needs ten courses!" He said walking into the cafeteria. "Do you see anyone? Or are we the first ones here?" He said looking around. He saw a few other people from his class but none of the group.

Phinesa shrugged. "It's bat in German." She laughed a little. "Actually it's the flying mouse in German.
(*Hits head on table.* Epic fail!)

Ember winced when Kaya yelled at her. When she processed what Kaya said afterward, she smiled shyly. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Mitch grow angry when Kaya had yelled at her. Is he angry because he thought Kaya was insulting me? she wondered. "I-I haven't actually sang in front of anyone besides my family so I didn't know if my voice was good or not..." Ember said, giving them an explanation.

Orion laughed. "I don't see anyone.... And I doubt I could eat 10 courses," he said, laughing again. He scanned the cafeteria again to make sure he hadn't missed anyone.

"Why are you yelling 'Bat' or 'Flying Mouse' or whatever in German?" Saffy asked, grinning. (We're in the same boat. XD)

A'ine smiled a little at Ember's thought. 'Yup! That's exactly it..." She sent smiling at the girls. "Well, you two are really good too. At least as far as I can tell. I haven't heard much singing yet." She said ruffling her hair. "You're good too Mitch." She said standing up.

Mitch smiled at Ember. He stood up holding his guitar in one hand by the neck. He held out his other hand to help Ember up. "It was great doing this with you guys. I haven't done this in a while." He said smiling over at Kala, Kaya and Kali. The three smiled back. "Our father didn't like us singing anything like these songs at home so it was our pleasure as well." Kaya said looking over at Ember. "If you want I could give you some tips for singing. I think that you're great."

Alderic looked around. "Well, let's grab a table then." He said looking around pointing at a large round one that no one was sitting at.

Phinesa shrugged. "Because it's fun!"

Ember took Mitch's hand and stood up, letting her hands drop to her sides. "I'd like that, thank you," Ember said to Kaya. "Let's go eat," Ember added. She hadn't realized how hungry she was while they were singing. 'And you're wearing that scary smile again...' Ember said, rolling her eyes and smiling ever so slightly.

Orion plopped down at the table and took up as much space on the table top as he could manage with his arms. "I wonder where everyone's at..." he said, turning his head to look at the menu.

Saffy turned to look around the cafeteria. "Where has Saquia gone?" she asked, looking for Phinesa's sister.

Kaya smiled. "Okay. I'll see you around and we can try and plan something." She said walking into the cafeteria with Kala and Kali.

Mitch smiles and puts his guitar back in the backpack like case he has swinging it over his shoulder. "Okay. Let's go get a table." He said standing next to Ember before realizing how close he was to her. He figured that if he moved away it'd make it more awkward if she noticed so he just walked forward.

A'ine almost burst out laughing but held it in. 'Hey! It's not scary!' She said watching Mitch as he moved. 'I should leave you alone with him for saying that!' She added turning around walking in front of Mitch.

Alderic followed suit. "Maybe they already ate and are looking for us?" He suggested shrugging.

Phinesa sighed. "She usually eats early and just goes to our room or works on her sword forms." She said a little sad sounding.

Ember looked sideways at Mitch and blushed when she realized how close they were. Stop blushing Ember. He's gonna notice! She suddenly found the floor extremely interesting. She decided to ignore A'ine, afraid she was going to blush even more.

"I doubt they all have eaten. It's not that late." Orion said, checking the clock across the cafeteria.

"Do you think we could go try to get her to do something with us?" Saffy asked, noticing Phinesa's change in tone.

Mitch resisted the urge to look at Ember to try and see what she was thinking. "So you like that song a lot?" He asked not looking over at Ember fully.

A'ine grinned. 'Aw. Come on Ember it wouldn't be too bad if he noticed, would it?' She sent walking a little fast to stay in front of them.

Alderic shrugged. "It's still a possibility, isn't it?" He looked around the room some more and put the bags he had been carrying on a few of the chairs.

Phinesa shook her head. "It wouldn't be easy and she doesn't like stuff that goes away from her schedule it's been almost the same since I was little."

"Yes, it's one of my favorites," Ember said, turning her head towards him a bit more, now that she had stopped blushing.

"I suppose," Orion says. "So are you going to go get a ten-course meal?" He asks, grinning at Alderic.

"That makes sense. But couldn't we try to join her at least?" Saffy asked, not wanting Saquia to be locked up in her room all day.

Mitch smiled softly. "I could tell. 'The singer sings best with songs they love.'" He said watching as A'ine walked into the cafeteria. He stopped walking and grabbed Ember's arm. "Is it just me or did A'ine seem smug about something?" He asked remembering how she grinned when he figured out what she had been up to making Ember sit next to him.

A'ine walked into the Cafeteria and looked around and saw Alderic and Orion. She started weaving around the people toward the table they were siting at.

Alderic shook his head serious. "Of course not!" He paused for a little bit before adding. "I'm getting a nine course one. Gotta save a course for marshmallows." He said laughing as he looked around the room again. "Hey! There's A'ine!" He said waving to her.

Phinesa shrugged. "She won't let me spar with her cause she might hurt me and she mostly writes and reads when she's in our room."

"It's not just you," Ember said. "I think she has something up her sleeve, as usual," she explained as much as she could without telling Mitch that A'ine was trying to get them together.

Orion waved to A'ine too. "I wonder where Ember is..." he said. "Well, I'm gonna stick with a two course meal, thank you very much." he said.

"Well we could study or read together. At least she wouldn't be alone." Saffy said.
