Alex looked at him with sadness and a super tiny bit of disgust. *they could have had families, or pups, or were broke, or something that meant something. They werent trash. They were people. And your going to throw them away because of one mistake they didnt even do?* she asked, deathly quiet.

He begins laughing, standing and stretching. He catches his breath, chuckling. "Love, I'm not that cold-hearted. I make sure the maids here are nobodies, no lives, nothing to make them have anything to live for. As long as they have potential, and I assure you, they are anything but broke, we pay them here, you know." He says, smiling down at her. "Net time you judge somebody as important as your mate, make sure you know the facts." He snaps, walking out without another word.

Alex watched him, silent. Then she sat on the bed, and thought. She didnt nothing, just... thought.
