I'd sigh. "Go over to the computer and open the 2 emails that are on the task bar." I'd say, my look instantly going down. "It will explain why i was depressed over the phone."

She looked at him a moment more before going over to the computer and sitting down, opening the emails and reading them, her eyes widening then becoming sad the more she read. When she was done she stood without a word and went over to him, wrapping her arms around him in a hug. "I'm so sorry, Max," she murmured.

I'd sigh, laying into her embrace. "You have nothing to be sorry for." I would say, looking at her. "The only thing i regret is that i didn't fulfill her wish before she died..." I'd sigh a bit, before yawning a bit as well.

"What was it?" Vivian asked gently. She saw him yawn and smiled a little. "Never mind, you should sleep, Max," she told him, stepping back and sliding her hands down his arms until she held his hands and looked up at him with sad eyes and a small smile.

"It was to read the novel about how i met my wife." I'd chuckle, looking over at her. "I will get some sleep, but while i do." I'd pause pointing my claw at the books over at the table. "Read that, it will explain my life story, and it's my newest book." I'd say.

"Okay. Do you uhm.. want me to stay? Or if not I will go home and you can call me when you wake up." She tilted her head to the side in question then glanced at the book in curiosity. Wait, did he say wife? she thought, her eyes widening a bit.

"You don't have to leave, but you can if you want to, i'll leave it to you." I'd say, before walking over to my bed and fall on it, falling asleep minutes later.

She watched him then walked over to the desk and picked up the book, looking down at it for a moment then moving to go sit in a small comfy chair. She turned off most of the lights and flicked on a lamp next to the chair then settled down and opened the book, the new spine cracking a little in protest to the movement. Vivian began reading, diving into the book and getting lost quickly. She sat that way for a few hours, reading avidly under the light of the lamp.

I'd slowly rise after the few hours that she read the book and yawned, looking over at her. "Did you read it?" I'd say groggily. ( The book was about how he came a writer and how he was abused mentally and physically by his father at his young age, and how he made it to the city. )

She looked up with tears in her eyes and sniffled, wiping them away. "I'm almost done," she said softly, looking at the floor. "It's so horrible. How could someone do that to their child?" she whispered. A single tear fell onto her leg and she blinked in surprise, wiping it away then swiping at her eyes. "Sorry."
