Mitch smiled offering his other arm to A'ine because she looked a little left out. She took it smiling back. He walked back over to his guitar and the three girls. "Alright! The lady on my left is A'ine and the lovely at my right is Ember. I myself am Mitch. What might your fair names be?" He asked them smiling brightly. The three of them smiled looking at each other. "I'm Kalapana, but call me Kaya." The obviously more pretty one said. The shy one spoke next. "I'm Kala... And this is Kali, she can't really talk." She said shrinking down a little. "You're really good at playing the guitar and I couldn't believe you knew that song...." Kaya said smiling.

A'ine smiled to herself. She felt a little devious right then and sent a whisper of a thought to Kaya. The brunette looked at Ember. "He must play it for you all the time." She said smiling. A'ine could feel a slight almost unnoticeable nervousness in Mitch's mind.

Alderic nodded. "I think it is! Oh this'll be so great!" He said fist pumping the air. "I wonder who else is already at dinner. Bet we're the last ones." He joked doing a little flip his bags jangling a little as he did. "So, where do you think is a good place around the lake for a s'more roast?" He asked bringing his hands behind his head his elbows sticking out at either side as he walked.

Phinesa snorted a little and started laughing again. "C-crown?!" She said in between snorts as she covered her mouth and held her side. She went though the laughing again then looked up at Saffy. "Hey you seem to know more about cooking then you let on..." She said poking her. "Come on. Out with it, do you cook or something?"

"Actually we met this morning, so I haven't heard him play yet," Ember said quickly. On instinct she stuck out her hand shyly for Kali, who was closest to her to shake.

"Let's go somewhere different from this afternoon. Maybe the far side of the lake." Orion said, not wanting to stir up any of Jora's memories.

Saffy shook her head."Nope, I don't cook. In fact, I was banned from the kitchen because I almost burnt down the kitchen while making toast!" She said cheerily. "I just am good at describing stuff over dramatically, or with eloquence," she said, winking.

A'ine could sense Mitch relax a little... maybe too much. She watched as Kali shook Ember's hand seriously as Kaya spoke again. "Well, you just did. I'm sure you did walking by at least." She said quickly obviously trying to make up for the slight mistake. "Will you play some more Mitch? I haven't heard this well music playing for a while." Kala asked shyly looking down. Mitch smiled. "Of course. Anything for fair ladies as the five before me." He said releasing A'ine's and Ember's arms.

Mitch sat down on the bench picking up his guitar again. "You two sit down. We like standing up." Kaya said to Ember and A'ine with Kali nodding violently in agreement. Mitch smiled as A'ine sat on the far end of the bench leaving room between him and her for Ember. 'Must be nice to cheat to figure out who might like who.' He thought toward A'ine making her smile broaden. "What should I play now?" He asked everyone. "We picked the last one. Ember or A'ine should pick." Kala said quietly.
(Holy Moly! Mitch and A'ine's are getting LONG! The ducttape works too well! Ah!)

Alderic looked toward the lake with the fading sun light. "I think that little cliff over the lake would be cool... Plus you could all see my stunts better." He said pointing toward an out cropping that went over the lake right next to it.

Phinesa laughed a little again only less loudly, calming from all the laughter before hand. "Well, you could do a cooking show where you let others show you how to make stuff." She joked right back adding her own wink. "So back to Saquia and Roron, It's your turn to come up with an epicly romantic thing to happen!"

Ember thought for a second. "Do you know 'Waiting for Superman by Daughtry?" It was one of her favorite songs, and she hadn't heard anyone play it live in a while. She sat down between A'ine and Mitch.'Isn't it a little obvious you're trying to set us up?' she sent to A'ine.

"Yeah! That looks good," Orion said, inspecting the outcropping. "And making the fire should be pretty easy," Orion said, grinning.

Saffy grinned. "What if the town he lives in learned that Saquia goes here? And then he comes over here to find her!" She was glad that Phinesa was willing to joke around. Saffy turned and noticed people giving them a few odd looks because of their act earlier.

(It certainly does! Except Orion seems to have gone on vacation. )

Mitch smiled. "You tell me." He said turning to face her pulling on of his legs up onto the bench resting his guitar on it. He started strumming a little looking down at his hand with the pic. He cleared his throat and started singing a little. His singing voice was deep and had a slight western feel to it. "She's watching the taxi driver, he pulls away; She's been locked up inside her apartment a hundred days; She says, "Yeah, he's still coming, just a little bit late; He got stuck at the laundromat washing his cape"; She's just watching the clouds roll by and they spell her name like Lois Lane; And she smiles, oh the way she smiles..." He sang glancing up at Ember smiling softly as he continued singing. Kala and Kaya hummed along with the song a little just enjoying the music. Kali closed her eyes rocking a little tapping out the beat she'd play the song on her instrument.

A'ine smiled listening as Mitch played. 'Nope. I'm being the perfect amount of obvious.' She sent to Ember smiling a little as she sneaked into Mitch thoughts for a bit wondering what he thought. He was mainly concentrating on the song he was playing but the reason he was concentrating was funny to A'ine. He wanted to make sure he got the song right for Ember, and he didn't really care what the 'professional' singers thought either.

Alderic smiled brightly with a small laugh. "Nope! It won't be hard at all!" He said cracking his fingers as they walked. "Do you want to go around to the side entrance? it goes right into the cafeteria." He suggested pointing toward the other side of the school.

Phinesa beamed. "That'd be so cool!" She said excitedly as she ate another dumpling. Phinesa followed Saffy's gaze and smiled at a few of the students looking at them. They turned away after they saw her. "We should charge them for the good entertainment!" Phinesa Joked.

Ember smiled, and began to sing the words softly. She doubted anyone but A'ine or Ember could hear her. "She talking to angels, she's counting the stars, making a wish on a passing car. She's dancing with strangers, she's falling apart, waiting for superman to pick her up in his arms." Just because she couldn't sing well didn't mean she didn't like to sing. Plus she knew the lyrics by heart.

"Sure, but how'd you know that?" Orion asked. Alderic seemed to know the school grounds pretty well. Orion didn't doubt him though, so he began to walk in the direction Alderic had pointed.

"Yep! Forget a cooking show, we should have a comedy show!" Saffy said grinning. (Sorry! I forgot my duck tape!)

Mitch smiled at Ember as she sang the course. He swallowed glancing at his fingers to make sure they were on the correct strings then back at Ember's eyes. This song is perfect for her... He wanted to know what she was thinking for a little. He licked his lips and sang again. "Shes out on the corner trying to catch a glimpse; Nothings making sense Shes been chasing an answer, a sign lost in the abyss, this Metropolis; She says, "Yeah, hes still coming, just a little bit late. He got stuck at the Five and Dime saving the day.; She says, "If life was a movie, then it wouldnt end like this, Left without a kiss." Still, she smiles, oh, the way she smiles, yeah..." He sang getting a little louder near the end. Kaya smiled and looked at Kala winking and the other sister nodded.

A'ine smile broadened even more. She watched the triplets nodding to each other, probably planing something grand. A'ine closed her eyes listening to the words of the song and Mitch's feels as he sang. 'You can too sing. Mitch thinks so too.' She teased at Ember.

Alderic looked at Orion sighing. "Really? A chow hound like me and you question how I know all the ways to get to the food." He said exasperatedly. He shook his head smiling as he pushed his glasses up his nose.

Phinesa nodded in agreement. "I wonder if anyone does theater around here! Saquia made me read all these plays before we came so that I'd look smarter."

(Well right now Ember and Mitch's are the important ones!)

Ember stopped singing during the verse, but she gradually gained confidence. And A'ine's praise helped. She joined in on the line, 'Yeah he's still coming just a little bit late. He got stuck at the Five and Dimes saving the day." Ember's voice was a lot louder. "She's talking to angels, she's counting the stars, making a wish on a passing car. She's dancing with strangers, she's falling apart, waiting for superman to pick her up in her arms." She never knew how good Mitch was at singing. She liked his voice better than the original version.

"Good point. Remind me not to get in between you and food..." Orion said. He rested his hand on the hilt of his sword unconsciously. "Speaking of food, what did you eat at your home?" he asked.

"I'm sure there's someone. Did you enjoy the plays?" Saffy asked.

Mitch smiled at Ember softly and glanced at his guitar fingering. He wanted to look back at Embers eyes but thought she might think he was being creepy if he just kept staring at her beautiful eyes. He cleared his thought again. "Shes waiting for Superman...to lift her up and take her anywhere. Show her love and flying through the air. Save her now before its too late tonight. Oh, at the speed of light And she smiles..." he sang before letting his voice grow gentle as he looked back at Ember. Pausing in between the lines. "Shes talking to angels.... Counting the stars...Making a wish on a passing car..." He stopped hoping Ember would sing the rest by herself so he could really hear her voice.

A'ine sighed loving the music. She looked over at the sisters who looked like they were about to do something and read their thoughts a little worried that they might do something bad to Ember and Mitch that they thought was okay. She smiled widely at their plan and decided she might have to join in on their plan.

Alderic laughed leaning forward a little as they walked. "More like what didn't I eat. I lived in a circus and got to try everything for different places!" He said proudly. "Which is what gives me the power to help A'ine pick out her food.

Phinesa shrugged. "I liked some of them. She made me read an opera or two and I'd have to say one of those was my favorite." She thought for a bit eating a dumpling as she thought chewing it thoroughly. "Die Fledermaus!"

Ember turned her head to look at Mitch, smiling at him. When he started to slow down, she realized he was trying to get her to sing alone. She didn't want him to stop singing, mostly because she really liked to hear him sing, but also because she really didn't want to sing alone. She looked around at the smiling faces of the people around her and her nervousness ebbed. Even if their smiles were slightly devious. She turned back to Mitch and began sing louder, "She's dancing with strangers, she's falling apart, and waiting for superman to pick her up in his arms.... in his arms." Ember closed her eyes so she could concentrate on singing without her nerves getting the better of her.

"Yes, because she needs ten courses every meal," Orion teased, rolling his eyes. "But at least the food you chose was really good."

"Die Fleder mouse?" Saffy repeated, raising an eyebrow. "What's that supposed to mean?" she asked as she finished of her chow mein.
