"So want to sleep on the couch or the floor?" Cinder went and got a blanket.

"Uh, I don't really care terribly." He muttered, glancing back out the infinitely-more-interesting window.

"Or out in the fordge." Cinder offered, "That is if it isn't already claimed."

Knuckles wasn't sure why, but that almost sounded appealing. "Uh, yeah. I should probably be asking you if it's already claimed or not, though...."

"We may just make a smith outta you yet." Cinder smiled and handed him the blanket, "Put that under you when you sleep otherwise you might end up with back pain in the morning. Oh the forge can sleep three easy."

"Thanks," He said, taking the blanket and walking down to the forge. "And no, no you won't. I'm an echidna Guardian, not a steel worker." He added.

"The blacksmiths often sleep in the forge the night before they work on the project for luck." Cinder explained.

"Okay, well, that lowers the chance of me accidentally killing somebody tomorrow, then." Knuckles sarcastically replied, clearly to tired to put up with this.

"Good night." Cinder said before going to check on Ruby.

"Night." Knuckles echoed. After setting up in the forge, he let out a yawn and curled up, taking in the warmth of the place. It took him a while to actually sleep, though.
