"Should we ask for a tour?"

"Perhaps just where the nearest place to eat is? I'm hungry enough I could eat you up!" Ray jokes, pretending to eat Jack. "Taking a tour would be more walking, wouldn't it? Also, you can let me down since we've reached the village." Ray notes.

Jack chuckled. "I could let you down, but I enjoy keeping my favorite trinkets close. So I don't want want to." He said playfully, but only half joking.

"Ok, fine. If you have to keep holding me its fine." Ray wasn't going to argue with Jack. They didn't mind being carried right now since they were tired of walking.

He grinned, seeming happier than earlier. He carried Ray as he went looking for someone to ask about the place.

There were a few people about on the road. A few kids were playing a game of soccer or something nearer to the houses. A group of young men and women were talking excitedly as they finished their chores together. They noticed the two travellers and, after a small debate, one split off and came to Jack and Ray.
"Hi! I'm sorry I don't recognize you. You guys new around here?" She asked, dusting her hands off on her shirt. Her bright blue eyes, lively with cheer, seemed to hold the vast sky; her chestnut brown hair, done in two braids, shone to be rays of golden sun; her welcoming smile, warm and kind, hid to some degree the inescapable hesitant feeling of approaching someone you don't know.

(Haha, word play, I love it. See if you can spot it (I may have used more than one, but I know I put one in the last paragraph)!)

(Hm, I'm not sure I can find it. 'Shone to be rays of golden sun'?)

Jack smiled kindly back. "Yes, we're new here. I'm Jack and this is Ray."

(*applause* Yay!! Sorry. xD )

"It's a pleasure to meet you! I'm Kiara." She glances back to her friends and they urge her on. Kiara tried to figure out what they wanted her to say next. "So..."
"Sew buttons? No thanks. Jack here wanted a tour." Ray chirps.
Kiara looks back to the two and laughs,"Ok! That should be easy enough."

Jack chuckles. "Okay, thank you." He said to Kiara, gently patting Rays head.

Ray smiles at Jack.
Kiara smiles and nods, "No problem. Oooh, where to start? Well, we'll start somewhere and then get to everything else, and we can start here since we're already here. This is the center of our wonderful, though small, village. Stoneback has some history, but what is knows is shrouded in mystery. Everyone's disagreeing about what really happened here and how it was founded. But that doesn't matter because we're here and it's a great place to live." Kiara starts to walk, leading the group through the small village and pointing out some fun places. After the tour, she had led the group back to the center. "Any questions? Anything else I can do to help?" She asks.
