"It's not a problem, people usually refer to the escalators to stairs so I was a little confused."

"Oh...okay." she said,nodding as she took in the words and understood. She did a good job understanding what she could and learning words she didn't.

Kate started up the stairs. "You coming?"

She nodded,smiling. She then began hopping up then,wings out incase she slipped but her tail gave her nice balance.

Kate was always only one step ahead, just in case.

She seemed to be muttering something like a child's chant for a skipping game,something that seemed broken but fitted together best she could. She was wording as much as she could remember.

Kate listened closely, wondering where she had heard it

"One...two...tie...your shoe...three four...shut door....five...six pick...up si...sticks...seven...eight,lay straight,nine...ten...do again."

Kate smiled at how cute that was. "Where did you learn that?"

She looked up at Kate. "Huh...oh,when...Diana and other specimens....small...played with...outside....little ones...then grew up,and taken inside...away from outside little ones."
