Fortuna took the hit, "Ow." She uses astonish again.

Slide merely tanked the strike before using Ice Punch once more.

Fortuna tries to avoid the ice punch in favor of using wing attack.

Slide bounded out of the way and used Swift.

Fortuna squaks in displeasure, "I said you would pay for that Slide and I mean it!" She uses pursuit.

Slide turned so that her icy shell took most of the impact.

"Ow!" Fortuna waved her wing painfully, "if I have wing damage I'll take it out on you."

"You can try, birdie." Slide remarked begore spinning around and using Ice Punch again.

At being called birdie Fortuna pludged into her most brutal set of attacks: astonish, close peck, wing attack, repeat, then finish off with wing attack. The same attacks she had used on the trainer who had first called her birdie then threw a rock at her.

Slide was completely taken aback, and being somewhat slower, she didn't have much time to fight back. So by the second Astonish she instead opted to retreat but curling up into a tight ball, letting her shell take the rest of the attack. Even then, the final Wing Attack still managed to send her sprawling backward, scuffing her armored hide in the process.
