Eventually, the trio arrived at a ledge overlooking the lava a dozen or so feet below. "Tread lightly," Shadow cautioned.

Val nodded, her fur was so puffed out, that she seemed to become lighter.

Shadow rolled his eyes and kept walking. Holter was hugging the wall, and Scarlet was staying close to Val.

Val tried to flatten her fur but it stay out, she gulped and followed Shadow, she thought that if her fur stuck out enough it would harden and become needle-like.

(A quilled fox? That's somerhing I actually want to see now.)

"Scared of the lava, too?" Holter asked, noticing her anxiety.

(Could you maybe draw that, that would be funny and cool to see)

Val's fur was stiff and wouldn't flatten, "If my fur is the cause of me falling then I am going to be angry at Sonic for coming here."

(I'll see what I can do.)

"You didn't have to come here, you do realize." Shadow remarked curtly.

(Edit: Rough, but pretty cool.)

(Yes, it's a spiky fox, although it just looks like it's got really cool fur, but either way super awesome!)

Val gave Shadow a death glare.

Shadow rerurned the glare, only his eyes were practically burning.

Val huffed, she wasn't fazed by this, plus she didn't want to fall into the lava below.
