Suddenly, between my second and third transformations, I collapse, defaulting to human form. My breathing turns ragged and pained, my heart slows dramatically, and I seem close to death.
(Sorry for the wait, my mom took my computer for no reason but now I have it back finally)

"Probably their obnoxious way of telling other shifters not to mss with them." he said nonchalantly messing with his hair

At that her eyes widened, "He likes you! B-But you don't even have a crush on him or anything?!" she seemed upset but still, she is your best friend, "Well I guess you are a good person. I hope you two end up together then!" just like that a huge smile replaced her frown.

"Ah, crud!" Kody changed back to human form and ran over to you. He closed his eyes and you could physically see a link of silver energy slowly making its way out of his hands which he had in a triangular position and traveling towards you straight at your heart.

(My eyes are closed, just saying, so yeah I can't physically see it)
My breathing shallows and you can barely detect I even have a heart. My eyes peel open just a sliver and I whisper, "I was right. We can die..." I draw in a painful, ragged breath, "if we transform too much." My eyes fall closed again and I stop breathing. (I don't mean I full-on die right now, my heart's still there, so don't think I just killed off my character, I'll give Kody a chance to do something)

"..." he stays silent as he focuses completely on you. A sudden burst of energy comes shooting out of his hands at lightning speed. It hits you right in the heart. Kody weakly crawls over to you and checks for a heart beat and to see if your breathing, "... she's gonna hate me for this." he mumbled then performed CPR in an attempt to get you to breathe again.

"Ah. But still..There's definitely better ways! I try to use my abilities to save people from being hurt, like my parents...Why do others think to use it to almost kill people!?"

There is a weak yet steady heartbeat, but I am not breathing. After a minute or so of CPR I begin to do so. I lie there, raggedly breathing and barely alive.
