Vivian had left a little while after she got to the beach, not really liking the crowd. She enjoyed them when it was at a club and she could get lost in the music but when it was just a huge group of people she got nervous. Viv puled the note out of her pocket again and caught sight of the writing on the back. She flipped it over and saw it was a phone number. Max's, she thought. She took out her phone and dialed. She had saw him leave and thought maybe they could meet up again.

He jumped up and hugged the nurse impulsively then backed off quickly, a sheepish grin on his face. "Sorry."

I'd hear my phone ring, and slowly pick it up, answering it. "Yes...?" I'd say, my voice was oddly quiet, and sound that it had a depressed tone behind it.

"Max? Are you okay?" Vivian asked, a frown on her face. She stopped walking down the beach and looked out over the ocean, worrying a little bit at the depressed tone in his voice.

I'd look back at the back of my car, seeing the books. "I'm fine." I'd say, obviously lying. "I got a new book out if you want to see it." I'd say, trying to get off the subject.

Her eyes narrowed. "Alright. Where are you?" She didn't believe for a second that he was fine and intended to see and find out what was wrong.

I'd walk out of the car, carrying the box of books and the phone on my shoulder next to my ear. "I'm at my house, it's already unlocked and you can come in anytime." I'd say, unlocking the door as i say this and entering the house.

"Okay, I'll be over in five," she said, hanging up and dropping her phone back in her bag then running toward her bike. She got there in a two minutes and hopped onto the motorcycle, pulling on her helmet. She read the directions to his house off the back of the note then started up her bike and left the parking lot at the beach, zooming toward his home. Vivian reached it exactly three minutes later and parked her bike out front, cutting the engine and propping it up on the kickstand before getting off and walking up to his door. She knocked then looked down at herself and her eyes widened; she was still wearing her swimsuit with only her large hoodie over it. Vivian looked up again and hoped he wouldn't think she was anything bad...

I'd set the box down, and set a autographed copy out on the computer desk, then i heard a knock. I'd walk over and answer. "Hey Vivian!" I'd say, trying to stay happy, looking. "Looks like i was your priority first." I'd chuckle, seeing she didn't change. "Come on in." I'd say, opening the door wider for her.

She chuckled in embarrassment. "I didn't realize I was still in my swimsuit until I got here." She walked in then turned to look at him, her sharp eyes noting everything from the slightly clumped fur on his cheeks from crying and his slightly disheveled look. Though that could be his normal look. She frowned. "What happened?"
