Nobody stops him or slows him down.

Just as the bell rings Drake sits down in his seat. Chelsea glances up to see Drake covered in sweat sit down in his seat. She wondered what took him so long and why.

He smells strongly like flowers right now. Which makes sense for him, but not to everybody else who doesn't know where he's been.

Chelsea raises an eyebrow at the new scent. Normally he smelled of ocean, fish, and salt never flowers or like trees. She knew that Drake rarely went inland without a good reason and she was determined to find it this time.

It's definitely strange. Especially because he smells like flowers that aren't native to anywhere near this place.

Chelsea tries to figure it out as she tries to pay attention in class. Needless to say she was failing at both.

She hears Daire casually sipping some coffee. It's a strawberry mocha. How he found time to do that in the ten or so minutes they split up for is beyond her- the nearest cafe is a 15 minute walk away.

Chelsea grumbles something unintelligible before turning to Daire, "So did you get notes for the biology class by any chance?"

He leans down into his backpack and takes out a notebook, flipping through it. "Did you not take notes?"

"Err umm I was trying to solve another mystery at the time," Chelsea smiles weakly, "I know I should have been paying attention but sitting next to Drake when he smells like flowers instead of the sea is hard."
