Kate tried to reach over and pull the plank through

It was barely in her reach.

D stretched a wing under her to keep her from falling.

Luke struggled on the other side of the wall. "What are you doing back here?" a voice snarled. "For once, defying boss!" Luke yelled, then it could be heard that someone tackled another person. Luke had tackled the person, both rolling on the ground and grunting as they fought.

Kate was thankful for the support, still trying to get a good grip on the board

Luke threw the person off, rolled over to the wall and shoved the board forward for her.

She pulled the rest of it to the land so D could cross.

D took Kate's hand and put it to her tail so she could hold on before she crouched on all fours to cross. She was able to snuggle through the hole.

The person fighting Luke tried to stop D but Luke did something feral, he lunged and bit the man. Hard. The man screamed as blood came, but Luke didn't let go. He held on. Tight.

Kate was able to witness a little of it as she made her way through the opening.

Luke dug his teeth into the mans neck, both falling to the ground. Luke let go as he got socked in the stomach, the man bleeding badly from the side of his neck. Luke collapsed, but not before ramming his head into the other mans stomach. Both curled up in pain on the ground.

D got through and stood, shocked that Luke would do something like that.

Kate was also very shook, and wondered what on earth had come over Luke

Something in his eyes was different, the navy blue the same but his pupils small and something ... not human about them. He forced himself up and spat out the mans blood, nodding to them. "Run. Take the car."
