Reaper kept walking.
"Father what if we used the stink on the tree to get a branch then Knuckles could snap the branch?" Ruby suggested.
"If Knuckles was still alive after the dose it would take to weaken the tree and then your sycth would have the stench on it for as long as you use it."
"So the stink is that strong?"
"I was Fang's roommate for four years when we were growing up and if Fangs took off his socks or shoes the entire wing would evacuate and I would pass out from the stench." Reaper recalled.

"I am suddenly concerned..." Knuckles stated.

"As you should be." Reaper growled.
"We wouldn't unlease it unless you tried something." Ruby tried to reasure Knuckles.

"I'm not sure if that's comforting, or worrisome...."

Reaper smiled an evilish grin, "Let's just say we are well prepared for anything that might try to attack."
The approached the tree and instantly smelled skunk.
"Not again." Ruby muttered and turned around only to turn right to the skunk and be sprayed, "WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU!?"
The shunk sprayed her again.
Ruby wipped out the broken sycth and growled a warning.

Knuckles stepped away with a grimmace, waiting for the skunk to respond. "I dunno, but seeing he didn't warn you, something..."

The skunk looked at Knuckles for a second and charged.
"Maybe you look your mother as in your fur is a shade of red and Cinder tried to cook this creature before Fangs saved it." Reaper spoke.
Ruby growled at the skunk.

"That would make sense." Knuckles agreed, stooping down. "Hey. Bud. Talk to me. Unlike these idiots, I can take a hint." He said.

The skunk growled Leave.
"Iditiots?!" Ruby's eyes were cold and hard as she looked at Knuckles.

"Okay." Knuckles stood up. "He wants us to leave. And in his mind, you are idiots. He can understand you, but you can't understand him."
