Val sighed, "I could take him, plus I doubt he'd do that anyways."

Shadow glanced at Val as if to say "Try me".

Val rolled her eyes and sped up enough to be right beside Shadow, "How much farther?"

"Not much further," Shadow said simply.

Val nodded and wondered if Shadow could actually go as fast as Sonic without using his skates.

Shadow slowed to a halt at the cavern he had mentioned. "Here we are," He said, entering.

Val followed not sure what to expect.

Holter entered close behind. "Oh yeah. It's already warmer in here, thats for sure..." Shadow scoffed at this remark.
