She didn't respond, standing too quickly and almost falling over.

He got to a shaking stand. "We have to get her." He said, bending down and picking up sleeping Sapphire. "Darn it, that dart'll do more damage to her due to her size." He muttered as he held Saph.

"Where did they take her?"

He looked her right in the eyes. "The lab."

She got goosebumps. "And where's that?"

"A disclosed area...It's a hidden location in the woods, not too deep but not easy to find. I've still got some of my tracking gear. It won't take too long to get there."

"Then let's go! Is there any way to get there before the people that took D?"

He shook his head. "Not before them, but maybe soon after. I have my car at my apartment, I can try and ask if a "friend" will drive it over for me."

She nodded. "Okay."

He got out his phone and struggled to type in a number, but once he did the person answered right away. He spoke with the voice of a young boy, though he seemed uncomfortable, and soon he hung up. "Alright, Seans' on his way. He might take a minute. At the vans rate, they'll take a while. They won't speed."
