She had stumbled a little as she landed on the screen. "Yup! It's your turn now." She shoved the screen and her bag out of the way.

Being Vex and having, obviously, never jumped out a window, he tried putting one leg over and then the other. It wasn't too hard, but he clung to the frame a bit. He was ganna be fine due to his height, but he still took the precaution.

"Hey, can you close the window?" She asked. "Just in case he gets in--he might think that he somehow mussed us going out the front."

He nodded, feet now on the ground. He reached in and pulled the window closed.

"Thank you. You'd better stay here while I go for the car. Will you be okay?" They were in a small grove of pine trees, partially hidden.

Turning to her, he gave a nod despite that he was nervously pulling at his metal bracelet again.

She hesitated as she gazed up at him, her eyes troubled. "I don't suppose you'd take my gun if I gave it to you, would you?"

He shook his head, he wasn't one for weapons. That only made him start shaking a bit. "I-I'll b-be fine." Double stutter, that said otherwise.

"No, I didn't think so. Look, just keep out of sight, okay? Keep safe. I'll be back as fast as I can." She wasn't entirely sure what else she could do with him besides leave him here

He nodded, clutching his bracelet tightly.
