Eric arrived, unable to find his brother. He began to panic again. Nooo no no I can't loose you again! Meanwhile, Lukas had wandered to far away for Savana to hear his thoughts. No, it wasn't his parents, it was a glowing orb... He had to follow it... It was so pretty... He didn't notice he was entering a cave, the glowing orb was his whole world now... It led him on through the darkness a little farther down, where it suddenly stopped. Lukas stood there, unable to move, mesmerized. Slowly but surely, as he stood there, webbing slowly wrapped around his legs, past his waist, it wrapped his chest, his arms, and his neck. And then he was tipped upside down, still staring at the orb. He suddenly gained some thought. Wait, where am I? Why am I up here? Why can't I speak? HELP! HELP ME! ANYONE, HELP ME! BROTHER! SAVANA! GABBY! EVEN- Even- even- Lithius... All his thoughts vanished again as his mind clouded, and a huge, GIGANTIC spider scuttled out of the shadows, it's pincers clicking excitedly. "Sleep, my darling, sleep... Trust me..." It murmured, sweeping a large hairy leg across Lukas's webbed neck. Yes, sleep sounded nice... Maybe he could sleep... It would be ok... Sleep... Lukas yawned, and fell into a deep, undisturbed sleep, the only thoughts in his head were of the orb, and how it glowed so beautifully...

Ricky was now hit with the feeling that Lukas was in trouble, causing her to run faster.She ended up in a cave where a huge spider web was there.Lukas was in the web and saw the giant spider.Her hair was on end but courage filled her body.She then headbutt the spider and got Lukas out of the web, the spider unconscious with the two to escape.She unraveled him out the web and put a protective barrier around everyone to keep them from falling into hallucinations.'Lukas wake up!' she said, frantically shaking him.

Savanna followed after ricky, swatting at the growing number of ghosts. Some of them grabbed at her and scratched her. She pushed past them anyway. She stood still, frozen, her legs seemed stuck She heard the voice of her long lost friend josephus. He called to her, telling her he had finally found a way for her to stop hearing thoughts. She shook her head, josephus died after his last surgery, how was he there? She took one step closer to him, to scared to move forward, to entranced to step back. She was too far for ricky to protect her.

'Looks like I might have to use my words to get them out of that state.' she said.Ricky growled a little inside then barked as hard as she can.She paused after a few seconds went by and barked again.She kept this continuing so her friends can remember the voice of her, the one who wasn't stuck in a hallucination.'Please work or else we be stuck like this.' she said mentally.

Lukas, however, seemed to be in a state of a coma. The spider, furious, had awoken to find her meal had been snatched away from her. "I AM NYKIENE, MISTRESS OF THE MIND! GIVE ME MY PREY, OR I SHALL SKIN YOU AND HANG YOU FROM MY BURROW!" She roared. She thundered out from the cave, growing in size. She had grown larger, her fangs the size of a large rabbit. She began to hit the barrier, and it began to crack. Eric had run up, and froze to the spot, terrified. "L-leave th-them a-alone!" Eric stuttered, his eyes widened in fear. Immediately, Nykiene turned to face the new stranger. "Fine! I'll eat HIM instead!" She charged, knocking Eric over under her many feet. Nykiene then looked him in the eyes, and began to whisper quietly, "Sleep... Everything will be ok... Sleep my darling, trust me..." Eric just laid there, squirming. He was terrified, and was pretty sure he would have a fear of spiders after this. Nykiene, Nykiene.. OH! NYKIENE! The mistress of the mind! Thought she was dead... FOCUS! SHE'S TRYING TO HYPNOTIZE YOU HERE! Okay, so she enjoys playing with her food before she eats it, know that now, and she specializes in people... Oh! But I didn't touch any of her poison! That must mean she has less of an effect! Just great! Only weakness is flames, why she lives next to a freaking river... But I can't control my powers! Oh what the hell, not like I have a choice! Eric squirmed out, still terrified. "Scared, are we..? Oh, pathetic thing..." Terror pulsed through Eric, rooting him to the spot. He tried to move, but was grasped with fear beyond measure. "I'll eat you right here, you pathetic piece of skin, and then move on the the rest of you brats!" Screamed Nykiene, advancing on Eric. He felt himself glowing. Glowing brighter than lanterns, brighter than headlights... Touch me and we both die. Thought Eric simply. It was true, if he exploded they would both die. Nykiene cackled. "Like you can kill me!" With that, she rammed Eric with all her strength, and a blinding light filled that part of the forest, blinding anything within several dozen feet.

Ricky stopped barking and got blinded by light, trying to cover her eyes with her wings.'Eric!' she said, wanting an answer.

It lasted a few moments, before the light slowly began to fade. When it cleared, a HUGE skeleton of a spider lay scattered in front of them. Lukas coughed, and started to wake. But where was Eric? Upon closer inspection, a tall figure lay slumped against some nearby rocks, unmoving and unbreathing. Upon even closer inspection, it was Eric. He appeared to be dead. Lukas saw this, and ran over the skeleton towards his brother. "No... No...! NO! NO, ERIC! WAKE UP! PLEASE!" Lukas cried, shaking his unmoving brother. Thunder cracked, and slowly it began to rain for a second time on their journey. "No... No... NO!" The rain began to pelt down, as the river rushed by the group.

Ricky was done at this point.Frantic and scared,she made duplicates of herself and they flew for Savanna and Galadrial while the real her went to help Lukas out.'Please Eric, if you can hear us clench my paw.' she said, her paw in his hands.

He didn't move, nor any attempt to move. He was dead... He was really dead... But then a voice popped into Savana's head. Wait, I'm dead? How'd I die?! The spider actually tried to kill me? But, but then... What about my friends? They will have to continue without you, my son. But I don't want to! How do I go back! Tell me! Why would you want to leave? This place has everything... No pain, or fear, or annoyances... It's just, perfect. I don't WANT perfect, I want my brother, and my friends! They can't go ON without me! Yes, they can, and they will. You cannot leave. No one wants to anyways. You are dead. May I remind you, that your are DEAD. You are now in your new realm. NO! LET ME GO BACK! I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE! EVEN IF YOU ARE MY PARENTS! You truly want to go back to that existence? Scraping together food to live? No, but- but they're my friends! They're like my family! Please let me go back! WE are your family, Eric. Give me three reasons why you should go back. And I will CONSIDER going against all laws of life and death. I... I... M-my brother! My brother needs me! With that, the voices vanished from Savana's head, and Eric let out a wheezing cough. Helped him through so much... What had he meant by that?
