One of the wolves looked at Knuckles. His scent is not native. Is he the one who attacked the forest? He asked. Knuckles shook him head. "No, I thought he was, but he isn't. It's okay, they won't attack us," He replied. The wolves seemed satisfied with the answer and left.

Knuckles was taking his time going to Lava Reef when he realized that Amy had went in the opposite direction. He decided to head back and attempt turn her around.
Little did he know, the wolves knew where Amy was.
