Scias stopped at the gates of the Vinrova, looking around the town from the bottom of the mountain slope.
He was tired and while the town was nothing to write home about, it looked as good as anything else right now. He knelt down slightly to let Corasi and Hexic off his back.

"So my friend.. He goes by the name X. Last I knew, he was wrapped up with the Protectors. He's another Daarizi too, so pretty much all bets are off on looking for him by appearance, no doubt he's probably keeping himself on the down low and copying anyone else around here. Just.. look for anyone wearing an eyepatch and smoking or drinking enough to buy out a corner store. Might be a good idea to get information from people while we're here on those experiments, but just be careful who you're talking to."

She quickly got off. "It'll be easy to find him then, if he isn't already gone. And if this place wasn't raided." She was trying to be optimistic, but it really wasn't working. What if something goes seriously wrong?

(My family is driving each other insane. My mom became depressed again, I have so much stress and anxiety that it could choke a horse, and my dad is so worried about work we're all worried for him, not to mention we're all worried that my dad might have the virus [he is the age and he's the age it could kill him.])

Hexic was only half listening. He knew he needed to be caught up in the situation, but he was getting kind of bored. And hot. He was getting hot too. But no one should judge him, because Corasi had a very warm scarf.

(I'm just bored to death. That's the only thing that has changed for me. Already had anxiety. So now, just bored. And kind of lonely I guess. Plus my family keeps making me go on walks. I don't mind staying home, but I have to go do stuff?!! That annoys me.)

(Depression is tough. I deal with it pretty regularly myself and honestly it makes me want to choke my own brain sometimes because I feel like there's no reason for it. There's not much you can do for it but try to support your parents through this hard time and remember to step back and take time for yourself too. What you're feeling is a normal response to a tough situation. Whatever will happen regardless, so just focus on the here and now. About all the unwarranted two cents I can give though. Been stressed about my grandmother too but I know there's not much I can do being a state away other than trying to keep an eye on her, so you're definitely not alone.)

Alright, time for you to come out. She took Hexic out of her scarf and put him carefully on the ground. Secretly, she thought of Hexic like a little brother or in some motherly way. If we could even find his Darizi friend, who knows if it will actually do any good at all?

Hexic went back to cat. Honestly, the best choice right now would be cat. No one wants a squirrel or rat running around, but cats are to cute to hate. You can't get mad at a cat. Unless it didn't have hair. Those kinds of cats freak Hexic out.

Wow Hexic. Havent even been a human since we left the base. She sighed at him.

"Why would I do that, when it's so much easier being a cat? You don't have to talk to anyone. Ever. And cats are just better than people. In my opinion." Hexic told her.
