"Easy... Dont hurt yourself..." I said facing her my eyes looking at the other two"yea he's here... I followed him in the woods then he mentioned you..." I said.

Subuki sits up slowly, careful with her wounds. "He's here for Sibnele, isn't he."

Iskren's aura is ever-increasing in its strength, but Sibnele doesn't seem to be bothered by this.

" yes he is..." I say watching.

Sibnele sighs and stands up. He walks right up to Iskren, who stiffens. Sibnele puts his hands on Iskren's shoulders, and gives him a strange smile. "Come on, you were my favourite. Don't make me tear you up."

Iskren's sword hand tightens, then he drops the blade, which disintegrates as it hits the ground. He shrugs off Sibnele's hands. "Don't touch me."

Subuki leans into Sammy's ear. "They're more like siblings than the rest of us. Iskren is the only one whose personality shares direct traits with Sibnele."

"Oh?" I say staring at the two raising a brow "Iskren scared yhe ever living crud out of me... I was a wolf and he jumped out from behind a tree his sword raised... He thought I was the big jerk..." I said laughing slightly, "im not that mean looking am I?" I asked.

luca wakes up confused as all get out "ugh did i pass out? um."

Subuki giggles quietly. "No, you look quite friendly for a mortal. In fact, this entire group of yours does." She glances over at Iskren and Sibnele. "Those two have fought and teased each other for centuries. Sibnele knows that Iskren has the capacity to destroy him, but also that using such power would render Iskren faint for a long time." Leaning back a little, she sighs. "Can. . .I tell you a secret? You and Luca?"

"Yea of course" I said looking at her carefully listening and smiling.

Subuki looks side to side, as if to make sure no one else is listening. At least, no one else apart from your group. She leans a little closer. "It's about Sibnele," she whispers. "He wasn't always one of the Devils. Once, he was just a mortal left alone in a dimension similar to what you call Hell." Taking a deep breath, you can hear her voice tremble. "He was just all alone, tortured by his own mind to the point that his soul shattered. It twisted him."

A few silent seconds pass, then she speaks back up. "He doesn't want Iskren to use his. . .special attack, I guess you'd call it. . .to restore his soul. It could banish him back to that place, you see. And it'd be near impossible for him to come back."

"wow really? That's crazy..." I said glancing at the two behind me in shock "not gonna lie" I said lowly so only Subuki could listen "Iskren is kinda cute" I said laughing slightly hopeful in bringing up the mood slightly.
