he purrs, while annamet and dearg share a look, glancing at the dead mouse at you feet. "lets get going..." annamet offers, dearg nods. "yeah, we're about to go through the floating forest, we should go through there before it gets too dark so we don't fall." dearg agrees, glancing around.

I nod my head at them and follow.

you walk for hours, and as you walk you begin to notice the forest around you changing. the path you follow is on some sort of incline, not too steep, but still noticeable. you begin noticing a few patches of moss that glow a bright blue, very few at first, then more. next, magenta flowers that glow brightly, and finally you reach a point where the entire forest is illuminated in an ethereal glow.

a butter fly, pink in color and the size of your pam flutters past, landing on the bridge of your nose for a rest. it flutters it's wings, and another one flutters up, landing on your outstretched arm. soon enough you're covered in glowing butter flys of all colors of the rainbow, all flapping their wings and crawling around.

"Um why are all these butterflies on me?" I ask them.

"it's cause your weird" dearg shrugs, while annamet rolls her eyes at dearg. "it's because they haven't seen humans before. plus they like the salt in your sweat. she explains waving a few of them away from her face.

"Oh," I said and softly move the butterflies away from my face.

"we shouldn't stop here, we don't want to get caught by a prowler" annamet says, dearg nods, agreeing for once. "yeah, besides, once those butterflies get tired of your face they're going to start trying to drink from your eyes and that isn't fun" dearg adds, snickering

"That's not true. Is it?" I ask while walking beside annamet.

"it is" annamet confirms, grinning devilishly. is she in on it? you don't know. "anyways, they attract prowlers" she adds, ushering you forward.

I nod and shakes the butterflies off and follow annamet.
