Sam shrugs before going ahead and shoving him to try and knock him over. Ray nods as they listen to Jack. Ryan was taking the information in, but didn't like the sound of having to fight by hands.

Jack was sturdy in place, it was like trying to push a wall. "See?"

Everyone nods. "So if we are balanced properly, the enemy won't be able to push us over, sweet... What happens if they outnumber us?" Ryan asks. "Balancing won't help with that."

"That is when the camander knows what's best to do. I'm starting with anything just in case, not as far as that." Jack said, standing straight again.

At this point in time, Sam tries to tackle Jack. You know, just to make sure that it was just the position and not that this guy was a brick wall.

He doesn't topple over, rather takes the blow and uses it to throw her. "Oop, sorry." he said once he'd thrown her, it was automatic.

Sam laughs and gets up, her brown eyes twinkling with mirth as she brushes herself off. "It has been confirmed that you are an impenetrable brick wall. It's all good! Can you teach me how to do that sometime?"

"We'll see, depends on how far I can get you all. But how about we try with something you'll handle for sure, I want you all to find how to position yourself with my sword." He said, unsheathing it and offering the handle to any of them.

Ray takes it, getting a feel for it and testing its balance in their hands. "It's a tiny bit heavier than what I'm used to. Throws me a tiny bit off balance but not that bad." They mumble to themself.
Sam watches how Ray does it and then compared it to how she had seen Jack and other guards did it. There was a difference, but didn't look that bad. She get she wouldn't do much better.
Ryan was positive he would blow them all out of the water.

Jack watched Ray, then came over and nudged him here and there into position. "The stance is mostly the same with your feet as I showed before, make sure to relax and not tense up. That's for all three of you."
