Jax wasn't about to admit he was injured, so he nodded for the first question. He nods again for the second question and shrank a little, bracing himself for whatever she might throw at him for being a wolf. All this time he was avoiding eye contact.

Molly nodded. "Then we can try and figure out this place together. ", She hummed, exiting the office and plunging into the crowd of kids scrambling for their first period. Shequickly shoved her paper in her jacket pocket where she could easily access it. They glanced at other students, shivering a little; both because of the crowd and how cold she was. "I'm pretty sure our first class is History." , They said quietly, taking a turn towards where they thought the room the class was being held in. And something about the other students put her off, there was something about some of them. She brushed it off and turned to Schylur and smiled.

"Oh, I'm sorry, at least you're in like the mos remote place in the country, now." , Jade said, gently patting his shoulder. "Come on, man, we gotta get hou signed up before the bell. I've been tardy too many times this last week." She laughed at her own joke, swinging open the door hard enough to cause a couple students to snap up their heads to take a look.

Her brows furrowed in confusion when he shrunk back, and she sighed "same" she mumbled and looked away looking everywhere but at him sighing, and looked at him "dont worry... I am not a big wolf in the pack... I just do errands and make sure others play nice" She whispered to him quietly to make sure others couldn't hear.

"I'm not part of a pack." Jax says softly, slowly sitting upright, the way he spoke hinting that he was proud of the fact. He pauses, and looks at her trying to smile.

Schylur smiles back, sticking by Molly's side, though sometimes falling just behind her so that others can pass them/they can pass others. "I like history. Everything about history is so cool! Except if you have to memorize the dates to everything. Certain years and months and days all get jumbled up in my head." They say, though they were seriously downplaying their ability. They could easily list of important dates. Even before they reach the classroom, Schylur was feeling claustrophobic.

Sammy smiles back her eyes warm but she remained quiet and calm, her sighed looking away "do not worry... You dont gotta be part of the pack..." She whispered to him keeping quiet so others didnt hear what they were talking about.

Jax nods and quietly responds, "Nobody has to join a pack of be part of a pack, though at times it feels like they are silently pressuring you to do it. There's some times I wish I was part of one but other times I'm grateful I'm not part of one." He doodles on the palm of his hand with his finger, though his eyes and attention was on Sammy. He looks around at the other students once to see if anyone was overhearing, and was unfortunately unsuccessful in deciphering if anyone was.

Sammy sighed "I need the pack... I may be able to protect myself but I am still weak" she said looking away her eyes narrowed not in anger but frustration as she tapped her fingers on the desk.

"Yeah..." Jax says in silent understanding. He felt he could fend for himself. He felt like he could take on the world. At times he proved that he could, but at other moments, he felt like he couldn't. He rarely let it on though, mostly sticking to himself and not connecting with other people. One person was enough - Maggy - the rest could all take a trip to the river Styx.

Sammy sighed leaning back muttering curses in latin, "you took me by surprise" she said honestly looking at him biting her lip and looking around again before her gaze rested on Jax.

"Me? Take you by surprise? Does that mean I have finally aced acting class?" Jax jokes, smiling at Sammy. He takes out his notebook and pencil, getting ready for when the classroom starts, ignoring the pings of pain coming from his injured arm.
