Latte nodded to Chikatu, "The cat is stalking the mouse," He said, though it meant something totally different to Chikatu, 'They are after us'.

Chikatu shifted to her true form, turning and glaring at Jasper.
"Can't you leave us alone? You won't remember us anyways, so you won't feel guilty."

Abyss crept in the shadows, creeping into theirs.

Jasper blinked. "Fearing a mortal? Wow, I really doubt I could do any damage to either of you." He said, putting his feelings aside for the moment.

"Actually it is possible for us to feel pain and to die, but we just wake up in the library. So yes, it is possible to hurt us really bad but not enough so we can die," Latte explained before he finally realized this wasn't the right place to make a speech and went silent.

"You never will," Her sword crackled with electricity as she lunged forward, trying to hit him with her sword, the blade not sharp enough to do actual damage if it were to hit.

Jasper couldn't dodge, but he did sprout his dragon wings and let it get electrocuted. It hurt, bad. But not as much as it would if he had been hit on his skin.

Abyss sprouted up from behind Latte, in a demonic form. His ragged wings spread wide as he tried to grab Latte.

Chikatu jumped backward once she had hit him, looking around, where was his friend?
"Why are you doing this," She growled trying to hit him again, rage glowing in her eyes.

Latte yelped in surprise as he was grabbed, struggling to free himself. He was pretty weak for his age... actually that would be a bad comparison. He was just weak in general, but he still squirmed and fought.

Jasper barely ducked out of the way. He didn't answer Chikatu, simply flared his wings to try and surprise her with the bright orange and dark blue.

Abyss put a hand quickly over Latte's mouth, wings enveloping him as he tried to drag him back into a shadow to his pocket realm.

She was surprised, pausing for a moment in shock. She looked away, finally noticing Latte and Abyss.
"Latte," She yelled in shock, fear in her eyes.

Latte let out a muffled yell, but not able to free himself. He wasn't a fighter and this situation only proved it. He still did try to free himself, though he was starting to get tired.

Jasper stood, holding his electrocuted wing. "Looks like he's a leverage. If I'm such a horrible being, then I guess it's something I and my friend would use against you."

Abyss grinned. "Fighting is fun." he said, voice demonic now. "I should do it more."

She froze for a second, looking shocked. She could remember what Latte said awhile ago, 'If I'm ever get caught, please run away and never look back'. She turned and ran, still holding the sword tightly in her hand.

Latte went limb, panting heavily. He got tired easy and needed a moment to catch his breath. He hoped Chikatu would be okay... even if he wouldn't.

Shade was shocked, but quickly chased after her, retracting his wings.

Abyss sunk into a shadow, pulling Latte with him. "It's not dangerous or harmful here." He said, taking his hand off Latte's mouth. "I'm not mean, just ... trying to survive. And help my best friend."
