"Nice shot," Piper muttered, almost sarcastically. It wasn't that she had anything against Se'therran, she was actually impressed by his accuracy, but she was more angry at herself. Why couldn't she do anything right? She couldn't even catch a stupid rabbit!

"Sure. Whatever." Piper grumbled, only partially hearing what he had said, for she was too busy yelling at herself internally. Se'therran could do it in the blink of and eye, no sweat. Why couldn't she? Even a pup could do better!

"Hmm? Oh, uh, yep. Right." Piper replied, coming out of her trance, albeit momentarily. She sensed that these words were supposed to be helpful, but they in fact did not help in the slightest. Maybe she just needed to train more. Yeah, that's it. Then, perhaps, she would actually be useful, for once.
