Sorry for not updating in forever. Was on an unforeseen break from being online at all. We had to babysit my Nephews almost all day due to the older ones football practice. (blame my sister in law for that). His first series of games and then getting ready for me and my husbands 5 year anniversary. I will get an update posted tomorrow. I might add a new RP in apology if things finally settle down by next week. (just to clarify I am not abandoning this RP, but I might add a new one if things become less busy.)

It fine, life happens

Felinus listened as the female Chinchilla outlined the job. She had questions about her boyfriends commitment to her. Afraid that he might have found another woman. Despite her coat and hat he could still see the diamond necklace shining in her fur, and the job offered to pay well. He voice and mannerisms also indicated she came from a situation of wealth. These clients while they paid a good sum were also incredibly picky. Felinus nodded polightly and used his best manners, but inwardly he was frustrated. This looked like an all day, if not several day job. The longer it took the longer until he could seek out the neko he had sensed last night. While he normally would be grateful for the extra work, right now it seemed more hinderance to what he wanted than a help. With a sense of resignation he helped his client up and walked her to the door.

He watched her walk down the sidewalk and sighed, before turning in another direction to head to his destination. At least he consoled himself he did not seem to be being tailed by the chaotix trio today. A small favor to be grateful for. The last thing he needed right now was those three dogging his steps. The one thing worse would be a cainar. Thus far he had not encountered any of those here. He had seen a few dog like residents but no Cainars, at least he was free of them...or so he thought.

The two companions kept realatively quite for the next few minutes as they ate. It didn't last long because eventually, Sonic (Being the impatient person he was) decided that he couldn't take much more of it.
"You think Vector took my advice?" He inquired in an attempt to strike up a conversation.

Knuckles' response was an abrupt "No," after which he hopped down from the brach, landing easily on both feet. "I'm gonna start looking again." He muttered, sounding somewhat distant as if he were thinking aloud.

"Wait, like right now?" Sonic asked, ears perking up.
"No, next week." Knuckles deadpanned, voice dripping with sarcasam.
"...Okay then." Sonic cautiously made his way back down the tree, though it was quickly made clear that Knuckles had no intention of waiting for him, seeing as he had already walked off.

Sonic shrugged. He supposed it wouldn't be hard for him to catch up, anyway.

Luna finished making a smoothie, she was surprisingly good at it
She also learned that if you work at a smoothie place, you hear a lot of gossip
The biggest news of the day was people talking about a new store opening up
The most common news was about Tigerstripe
Luna had heard that name before somewhere, but she couldn't remember where or when
Trying to remember gave her a headache

Felinus followed around his target around the business sector. It wasn't difficult to keep tabs on the richly dressed business chinchilla who strutted around town. Good way to attract the attention of thieves, Felinus thought to himself. The one he was following was arrogant, snobbish, and incredibly boring. Following his other clients was less irritating. However he had bills to pay and food to buy. He folded his arms across his chest scowling to himself as his target climbed into a limo. Always harder to trail them when they took to vehicles. Thankfully he knew from his client where his target was likely heading. With a sigh he headed to the nearest subway. Out of the corner of his eye he caught a glimpse of red. It was one of the strangers he had noticed the other day. He paused briefly wondering if he and his blue companion were residents of the city.

"...So then the bartender said to him, 'Get outta here. We don't serve your type here'! Heh! Get it Knux?" Sonic chuckled.
"Mm-hm. Sure comedian." Knucles responded, clearly unenthusiastic.
"Come on, it was funny!"
"Uh... not really. Too early for this, hones--"

The two boys bolted when they heard a sharp, paniced yelp. A few moments later, and small group of mobians haphazardly ran right past them. Another second passed, and Sonic looked over at Knuckles and smirked.
"You thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?"
"Trouble?"
"Yep."
"Then let's get this over with." Knuckles growled.

With that, the duo ran off to investigate.
