Here is my entry! I will be added an entry to the diamond contest as well ^-^
Edit-reread the first post and changed it to a luff design x-x completely didn't see the species specification the first time.

And here is my entry for the art! I felt inspired by your prompt and ended up painting this today ^-^ I just finished it- the camera flash kinda messed with some of the colours-turning them white (the bushes around the house) I thought showing the forest reclaiming an old abandoned cabin would have a bittersweet feeling to it.

I decided to try my hand at making a Luffox design! I love messing around in the generator so this was perfect for me!
I heard you like periwinkle so I used its hex code for the base color. I also wanted to include the rose theme, so that's where the flowers come in! They're white since white roses are cool and I thought they would fit better with the color scheme. The Luffox also have the petals gene to fit with the rose theme going on!

I also have a piece for the art contest!
It was originally made for another prompt my friend gave me, and it's based off of a game called The First Tree. In it you play a mother fox who woke up to find that her three children have disappeared, but a narrator soon comes in and you find out that the fox you're playing is part of a man's dream. You play as the mother fox for almost the whole game, finding the man's old treasures and memories as he struggles to understand his father's death. The mother fox travels towards the First Tree while the man recounts life with his father, and the man misses his father more and more while the fox slowly starts finding her babies dead. She continues her journey in search of some sort of answer and comes to the foot of the First Tree. There the tree asks her if she has one last message to tell her children, and the player gets to type in that message. The man wakes up and wanders out to the wilderness to look at the stars, and a ghostly fox mother comes to lead him towards a new dawn.
Wow, that was a long summary, but I really liked the story of the game! It dealt with loss and grief but ended with the fox getting to say goodbye to her children and the man learning to accept his father's death. This is the first thing I think of when I think of "bittersweet". I'd recommend watching a playthrough!
(The message I sent was "I'll look for you in the stars, and I'll catch you if you fall back down to me." It still tugs at my heart)
