"You know Russian? Thats great!" Nadette forgot she was stuck to the stump and tried to leap up to her feet. She stayed on the stump with a huff.

"Though, Xyniu, you need to work on the, well everything in that jumble of not-russian," she smiled a small snicker.

"Anyways, im stuck to this stump and don't kmow what we should do," Nadette shrugged.

"I only know a few phrases, my Polish is much better" Anahita said. "Though I'd be happy to learn more if it made you feel more comfortable" Ana said, trying to stand up, but discovering she, as well, was stuck. "Um... guys, I think I'm stuck too" Ana whined

Flare tried to get up but didnt budge. *um, me 2. Not Stalker, though. And hes been walking and sitting on all the logs weve been on, and the ones no ones sat on. So why us? Becuase were human?*

Stalker hopped off poked a log, then sat on it. He got up and hopped off, with a confused purple on his skin. He crawled back to Flare and hopped on his lap.

"I think the better question would be: Why are we stuck to these logs? This isn't scientifically possible... how old is your chameleon, by the way? Is it some escaped genetic experiment? It behaves very strangely" Anahita asked

Flare shook his head. *nah, hes just REALLY smart. Plus, I raised him from egg, so he has some of my intelligence. And do u think these logs would burn if we lit them?* he stroked Stalker, earning a flash of happy gold-pink and a playful jab from Stalkers Triceratops horns.

"Perhaps they might, but... this is a school dance, lighters are prohibited, bags were checked before entrance, plus, I don't think any of us have one... and wouldn't that risk burning us too?! It's a much to dangerous idea!" Anahita said, not struggling against the hold of the stump.

*it was a joke, I have nothing that can make flame. Besides, I dont wanna burn what Im stuck on.* Flare waved at the stump. Bored, he opened his bag and got out a strange, small bottle and a already opened pack of Oreos. He popped one into his mouth, then asked, *want one?* to Anahita while holding onto the bottle tightly. It seemed to be... jumping?

"Pssh, no way we're stuck-" she said as she tried to get up. Unfortunately, she was unable to. She began to tremble slightly as the others talked on. "Guys- what are the chances that we're all stuck here? To a bunch of stumps sitting in a circle? Like, what if this is some weird demonic power thing we started? Oh my goodness, what if it's like the movie 'The Ritual'? And some old lady sacrifices us to a monster when she finds us stuck here?"

"Well I want the funny one called Ana- she seems really smart too. I figure Cerina wants the host of the pretty Russian girl."
"She's also very kind, I like that abo-" She was cut off by Aitan's voice once again.
"Cool! That settles it! I get the one with the cool pet and Kian gets the last one."
"Hey! He seems cool. After all, he scared Aura's host well enough."

None of the kids could hear them.

FLare stopped moving and looked at her, Oreo halfway into his mouth. He spat it out and said, *while I would normally say that what you just said is stupid, Im stuck on an enchanted log as we speak. So Im not gonna say yes, but Im hopin no.* Then, he added, sorta sarcastically, but not mean, *Great, now I just remembered the fact that I hate horror and a bunch of horror games and movies just came to mind. Yay.*

Stalker looked around, a scared shade of blue-white splattered on his scales. He hissed and flicked his tongue, grabbing a mosquito. Very scary.

(Also, are the spirits gonna possess us, or just stick around in our heads like another personality and give advice?) (and plz dont forget about Stalkers future telepathy)
