After the group was well away from the city, Shadow looked Val and Holt over. "It's late. You two get some rest." He growled.
Ghost made a short noise, as if annoyed by Shadow's blunt tone.
Holt nodded gratefully, hoping that some rest would help reassure him despite his confusion and dread. "That'd be nice..."

Val yawned was very close to sleep skating, her eyes were almost fully closed, she sat down and leaned against a tree, she closed her eyes and let her music soothe her to sleep.

Holt flopped down on the grass and gazed up at the sky untill he couldn't keep his eyes open any longer.
Ghost took up a visible form, this time a Red-tailed Hawk, and swooped over to Shadow and perched on his head. He was weightless. We're gonna talk now. Shadow sighed. "Of course,"
