You catch a glimpse of a large scaled tail flash through. It is thin, like a wire, and green and purple.
I step to the very edge of the water and crouch down. "Hello?" I call, hoping to catch it's attention.

As you call, a creature bursts out of the water for a second, before diving back in.

After a minute you feel something gnawing on your fingers. It doesn't seem to have teeth however. Soon you feel more creatures slipping across your fingers, some stopping to gnaw harmlessly on your skin.

As you look down you see the creature from earlier dart away from your fingers, but you can make out its form peering out at you from behind a rock.

I break off a bite of bread from my sandwich and hold it in my hand underwater.
It bobs its head, and swims downwards for a moment. It returns with a small ball of some sort, that looks to be made of a kelp-like plant. It burbles again, and you catch the words "eat ... breathe". It holds the ball out to you.
Kind of confused, Kuro follows the instructions given to her.
