A giant roar was heard, and then wing flaps. The hut shook as two eyes peered into the door, a larger dragon that seemed to be covered in feathers held a bird in their mouth, they opened the door a little bit more before walking in and resting aside the bird. Hi there little one. They sighed.

The hatchling backed away,hissing some as the hut shook. What could that be?! When the door opened he darted back inside his egg shell, trying to hide. As the dragon spoke though he peered out, sniffing at the air.

You felt yourself pushed into the water and the feel of the cold waves lapping over you felt natural and soothing as you stood in the shallowest part, having to stretch your head up to avoid getting water in your snout. You vouldn't see anything through the waves except sand and some pebbles.

You managed to lift yourself a tiny bit off of the ground then fell onto the ground on your stomach. The older dragon chuckled.

You couldnt get out of the hut, it had no ladder and your wings were too weak.

He looked up at the roof and ruffled his wing feathers nervously, he looked over the edge and froze, gulping as he looked down terrified. He shrivelled up, bringing his ears back and tail going under his legs.

The hatchling slowly crawled from the egg shell, sniffing the air. The drake did smell mildly familiar to say the least. "F-father?" The hatchling repeated.
